Zuckerberg had to step into the metaverse Huge

Facebook (now Meta) founder Mark Zuckerberg has found it costly to step into the world of the Metaverse. This year has been a difficult one for almost every major tech company in America. Meanwhile, Mark Zuckerberg, chief executive officer of Meta Platforms Inc., has nearly halved his wealth.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Mark Zuckerberg's net worth has decreased by $ 71 billion or Rs 5.66 lakh crore this year. Mark Zuckerberg's net worth has decreased the most this year on the list of Global Billionaires.
Not only this, Mark Zuckerberg has come at number 20 in the list of Global Billionaires with a net worth of $ 55.9 billion i.e. 4.45 lakh crore rupees. This is Zuckerberg's lowest position since 2014 and he is also behind three members of the Walton family and two members of the Koch family.
In September 2021, Zuckerberg's net worth reached $142 billion, or about Rs 11.32 lakh crore. Then the shares of his company Meta had also reached $382 i.e. Rs 30,459. Now the stock of Meta has come down to $ 148 i.e. Rs 11,802.
Less than 2 years ago, 38-year-old Mark Zuckerberg's net worth was $ 106 billion or Rs 8.45 lakh crore. Then only Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates were ahead of Zuckerberg on the list of global billionaires.
In September 2021, Zuckerberg started Meta and changed the name of Facebook Inc to Meta Platforms. Since then, the company's bad phase started and since then the company's poor performance in the market has continued. In the current era, this company seems to be struggling to establish its foothold in the global market.
