Zomato being the market sensation and the one stop solution to our cravings created the Guinness world record by organizing the largest first aid training program under one venue. This was held at Nesco, Goregaon in Mumbai.
This program aimed to teach lifesaving skills to 30,000 delivery partners across 45 cities in medical assistance during emergencies. CEO, Deepinder Goyal twitted this good news stating the need to provide medical aid and help during critical roadside emergencies to decrease the rate of sudden deaths because of lack of basic medical knowledge.
Highlighting the "Emergency Heroes of India", Deepinder saluted and extended gratitude to the lifesaving heroes. Alongside Zomato also selected five delivery agents who will work closely with the zomato team for 2 months. The role of the selected partners will be generate ideas with zomato team and enhance the services and offerings that can be beneficiary to larger delivery partner community.
