YouTube deleted 95 lakh videos, making India number one; Know why
YouTube: YouTube is constantly improving its content moderation system so that inappropriate and misleading content does not spread on the platform. With most videos being removed in India, the question arises whether content creators are following YouTube's guidelines properly or not.

YouTube, with its strict content policy, has removed hate speech, harassment, violence, and misinformation clips. In a bid to protect its audience from harm, YouTube uses AI-powered detection tools and human moderators that erase offensive content before a large audience sees it.
The most removed YouTube videos were for child safety violations. More than 5 million videos were identified as being harmful to children based on the data. Other major reasons for video removal are harmful or unsafe content, harassment, violent content, spam, deceptive content, and deletion of fake channels and comments.
YouTube deleted not only videos but also 4.8 million channels. Most of these channels were created to spread spam and fraud. When a channel is removed, all its videos also disappear from the platform. More than 54 million videos were removed from YouTube under this large-scale action.
YouTube removed 1.2 billion comments from its platform, most of which were spam. Some comments were deleted due to harassment, hate speech, or threats.
