WWDC 2025: iOS 19 will be launched in Apple's mega event; Know details

Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2025) announcement has been made. It will commence on June 9, 2025. WWDC this year will be special because Apple will unveil next-gen software updates in its device ecosystem. The biggest preview of these will be iOS 19, with talks already building around it.

Apple's trusted analyst Mark Gurman has described it as the "biggest redesign since iOS 7". It is being said that iOS 19 will have a visionOS-inspired design, improved artificial intelligence, and many such features, which users have been waiting for years.

It was initially said that all iPhones supporting iOS 18 will also run iOS 19, but now new reports suggest that Apple may stop support for some older iPhones. iPhone 11 and all subsequent models will get its update, although iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max will not get this update. Not every feature will work on every device. Just like Apple Intelligence in iOS 18 was limited to iPhone 15 Pro only, some high-end features of iOS 19 can be found only on new devices.

A fresh and updated interface could be witnessed via iOS 19, which would be inspired by visionOS (Apple Vision Pro headset OS). Other than that, the glass-and-translucent menu could be discovered. Camera and other application icons could be rounded. Apple will make Siri much smarter. Siri would be capable enough to have context memory for the emails, files, and documents of the user. Siri would be able to extract data from information displayed on the screen (like addresses typed in messages).

With iOS 19, Apple will potentially introduce a great feature in AirPods, such as real-time translation. This will ease conversation across languages. It will be a big convenience for travelers and worldwide users.
