World number-1 player Nozomi Okuhara told the bitter truth of India's chaos

For the past few years, India has been getting the opportunity to host many BWF World Tour Badminton tournaments, but due to poor arrangements, the opportunity to host them may be snatched away in the future. After Syed Modi and Guwahati Masters, Odisha Masters 300 is being organized from 12 to 17 December, but like the previous two tournaments, here too the organization was poorly organized and the players had to face difficulties. The situation is such that Japanese player Nozomi Okuhara said that foreign players will think twice before coming to India.

When world number one player Nozomi Okuhara of Japan, who recently won the Guwahati Masters, reached Odisha, she could not find a room in the hotel. She wrote on social media When I reached the hotel, I came to know that no room was booked in my name. When I tried to book a room from my side, I came to know that all the rooms were booked.

Okuhara further wrote I tried to book a hotel on my own, but I failed. In such a situation, Sindhu and a staff of the tournament helped me and got me a room in a hotel. Angered by this chaos, Okuhara made another post and wrote, I don't think anyone would like to come to India and play after this kind of experience. This is the bitter truth.

Earlier, in the Syed Modi tournament played in Lucknow, foreign players had complained about birds flying and dirt in the court hall. At the same time, during the Guwahati Masters, Song Ju Wen of Malaysia posted a picture and wrote that dirty water was coming from his bathroom tap.
