The Bhajanlal Sharma government of Rajasthan has decided to give women a 33 percent reservation in police department recruitment. The Rajasthan Police Subordinate Services Rules of 1989 have been amended to reflect this.

Regarding the decisions made at the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel told the media that outstanding players will be given a two percent reservation in the recruitments of Rajasthan Language and Library and Rajasthan Excise Laboratory.

The government issued a notification on 21 November 2019 clarifying the definition of players, but at that time these two departments were left. No decision on cancellation of SI recruitment exam - No decision was taken in the cabinet on the cancellation of the Sub Inspector (SI) Recruitment Examination-2021.

Patel said that if the recruitment is canceled, it will also have a big impact on the children who get success through hard work. The government will decide to cancel the exam only after full consideration. This is a very serious matter.

On the arrest of former members of Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Babulal Katara and Ramu Ram Raika in the paper leak, he said that the statement of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma is proving to be correct.

He had said that if there is an investigation, big crocodiles will come out. Now they are coming out. On the issue of reorganization of RPSC, the minister said that there is a compulsion of constitutional provision, it takes time. Regarding the ongoing discussion on the formation of new districts in Rajasthan, the minister said that the previous government worked against the rules, our government will decide under the rules.
