Rajasthan government is going to celebrate Rajasthan Day as a special occasion this year on March 30. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has announced that the function will be devoted to the welfare of the poor, youth, farmers, and women of the state. Rajasthan Festival will be celebrated on the occasion of Rajasthan Day, where a number of programs will be held at the divisional and district levels.

During this period, besides cultural events, investment fests, adventure tourism, treks, and photography contests, developmental works will also be dedicated and a foundation stone laid in the state.

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma held a review meeting on Rajasthan Day organization and directed all departments to finalize the program outline and make preparations. He clarified that Rajasthan Day will not be a festival, but rather a meaningful event in the name of public welfare.

In a review meeting held in Jaipur on Monday, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma informed that on the occasion of Rajasthan Day, development works worth about Rs 5 thousand crore will be inaugurated and a foundation stone will be laid. These will include many important projects related to infrastructure, education, health, skill development, and women empowerment.

At the same time, the Rajasthan government is organizing the 'Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit' this year to accelerate industrial development in the state. On completion of the first quarter of this event, there will be a groundbreaking ceremony of projects worth about Rs 3 lakh crore. The government will also launch a mobile app for monitoring investment proposals.

Mukhyamantri Rozgar Utsav will be organized on Rajasthan Day, during which appointment letters will be distributed. Along with this, the government will also bring 'Kaushal Niti' and 'Yuva Niti', which will provide employment and self-employment opportunities to the youth of the state.

The government is going to bring many schemes for the farmers on Rajasthan Day. A fair of farmer-producer organizations will be organized. At the same time, grant money will be transferred to the farmers under various schemes and leases will be distributed under the ownership scheme.

Here, the government is also preparing to bring many schemes for women. On March 30, the assistance amount will be given to the beneficiaries of Laado Protsahan Yojana. C.I.F. amount will be transferred to women's self-help groups. Induction cooktops and scooties will be distributed and acceptance letters will be provided to the beneficiaries of the Vivekananda Scholarship Scheme.

Bhajanlal government has announced Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Garib Mukt Gram Yojana and Dadudayal Ghumantu Empowerment Scheme. Under this, schemes like DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) to construction workers, dairy booth allocation, and electric wheel distribution will be implemented.

Grand cultural programs will be organized in all the districts on the occasion of Rajasthan Day. Apart from this, there will be hiking, trekking, and photography competitions under adventure tourism, which will allow local people and tourists to connect with the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Rajasthan.
