Wipro's profit in the fourth quarter of FY25 rose 26% to Rs 3570 crore; company released the results

According to regulatory filings, Wipro's profit rose 18.9 percent to Rs 13,135.4 crore in the full financial year 2025. Revenue for the full financial year declined 0.74 percent to Rs 89,088.4 crore. India's fourth-largest IT company, Wipro's consolidated net profit increased by 25.9 percent to Rs 3,569.6 crore in the March quarter. The company provided this data on Wednesday. The net profit of the company in the same quarter last year had stood at Rs 2,834.6 crore.
Its revenue in the fourth quarter (Q4) of the fiscal year 2025 amounted to Rs 22,504.2 crore. It represents a marginal growth of 1.33 percent from Rs 22,208.3 crore during the fourth quarter of fiscal 2024. The company's revenue and profit increased sequentially by 6.43 percent and 0.83 percent respectively.

The Bengaluru-headquartered company expects its revenue from IT services business to be between USD 2,505 million and USD 2,557 million in the first quarter of FY 26. It is estimated to decline by 1.5 to 3.5 percent in constant currency terms on a sequential basis.
Wipro Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Srini Palliya said, "As customers remain cautious due to macroeconomic uncertainty, we are focused on closely partnering with them while remaining committed to sustained and profitable growth." He said the company ended FY25 with two large deals, growth in large deal bookings, and growth in top accounts. "Customer satisfaction scores have improved, reflecting strong execution and engagement," he said.
Wipro continues to invest in global talent and strengthen consulting and AI capabilities. Wipro's employee count stood at 2,33,346 in the last financial year, as against 2,32,614 in the same period last year. On Wednesday, Wipro shares closed 1.4 per cent higher at Rs 247.50 on the BSE. Wipro's results were released after market close.
