The result of the poll of Twitter's new boss Elon Musk has come. He had asked the users whether he should continue with his post or leave it. In the poll, 57.5% of users answered 'yes' and 42.5% answered 'no'.

Elon Musk often takes the help of Twitter polls to decide on many issues. Sometime back, Musk had sought public opinion through a Twitter poll for former US President Donald Trump's return to Twitter i.e. restarting his account.
He had asked the users in the poll whether the account of former President Trump should be restored. Over 15 million users took part in the poll and 52% answered yes. After this poll, Musk restored Trump's Twitter account.
Elon Musk bought Twitter in October for $ 44 billion, ie Rs 3.58 lakh crore. Since taking charge of Twitter, Elon Musk has been busy making major changes in the company. A few days back, they fired around 3,700 employees in the first round of layoffs. The layoffs were initiated by him along with CEO Parag Agarwal.
Earlier on Sunday, Twitter announced that it will not promote any other social media platform for free. The company had said, 'Now we will block Twitter handles created for the purpose of promoting other social platforms and their content.
These include platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Mastodon, and Tooth Social. Twitter also suspended the account of the Indian social media platform koo app on Saturday.
Twitter had also blocked the accounts of some journalists. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres criticized it on Friday. He called this a dangerous example from the point of view of freedom of expression. However, within hours of severe criticism, Musk retracted the decision and resumed the accounts of journalists.
