'We are moving towards building a developed India', PM said - Economic Survey is highlighting our strength
Economic Survey: PM said on X that this economic survey also identifies the areas of further development and progress in the country. Reacting to the economic survey, PM said that we are moving towards building a developed India.
One reaction to the Economic Survey presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha came from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the Economic Survey mirrors the current strength of our economy today. As per the PM, it underlines results accruing from various reforms brought in by our government.
He said on X that this economic survey also identifies areas of further development and progress in the country. While reacting to the economic survey, the PM said that we are moving towards building a developed India.
While presenting the Economic Survey in Parliament, he said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday pointed out that it underlines the present strength of the economy and also shows the results of various reforms brought in by the government.".
The Economic Survey 2023-24 tabled in Parliament has projected that India's gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate will be between 6.5 to seven percent in the current financial year 2024-25 amid global challenges. The projected growth rate for the financial year 2024-25 is lower than the economic growth rate of 8.2 percent estimated for the previous financial year 2023-24. Prime Minister Modi said in a post on 'X', "The Economic Survey underlines the current strength of our economy and also demonstrates the results of various reforms brought by our government."
He said, "It also identifies areas of further development and progress as we move towards building a developed India."
