Jewelry and watch manufacturer Titan Company Limited has today announced the results for the quarter ending September. In this announcement, the company said that its net profit has increased by 9.7 percent in the July-September quarter. Now its total is Rs 916 crore.
Titan had posted a total profit of Rs 835 crore in the July-September period a year ago, according to a regulatory filing by the Tata Group-managed firm. Which has become Rs 916 crore this year. Along with this, the total sales of the company also increased by 25 percent to Rs 10,708 crore in the second quarter. It was Rs 8,567 crore in the same period a year ago.
At the same time, in the September quarter of the current financial year, the company's total expenses increased by 41.07 percent on an annual basis to Rs 11,402 crore. The total income of Titan, a joint venture between Tata Group and Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation, rose 37.17 percent to Rs 12,653 crore in the September quarter.
