Volkswagen Golf GTI launched with a sporty look, along will get premium and advanced features

Volkswagen's latest Tiguan R-Line is being launched. Volkswagen is now set to launch its second car in India. The Volkswagen Golf GTI is to be launched by the German automobile giant. It is to be launched in May 2025 in India. It is to be launched as a completely built unit (CBU).

It will have sleek LED headlights and a smooth grille with linked LED DRLs at the front. It receives a red stripe immediately above the DRLs, which provides an eye-catching contrast when paired with racy colour schemes. The Volkswagen Golf GTI bumper receives an aggressive shape with a honeycomb comb pattern, which smartly integrates the fog lamps with it.

Its side is equipped with body-colored ORVMs and door handles. It receives 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels with all four wheels having red brake calipers. The rear receives wrap-around taillights, which round out the circular dual exhaust pipe design.

The Volkswagen Golf GTI gets an all-black cabin theme with contrasting red stitching to give it a sporty feel. It will also get tartan seats, which are offered with all Volkswagen GTIs. Apart from this, GTI badging will be seen on the front seats, which will be embossed in red.

It will have features like a 12.9-inch touchscreen system as well as a 10.25-inch digital driver display, wireless phone charger, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, head-up display, 6-speaker sound system, 30-color ambient lighting, heated front seats, and three-zone auto AC.

For passenger safety, Volkswagen Golf GTI can get features like 6 airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), electronic stability control and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like lane assist, blind spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control.

It can get to see a 2-liter turbo petrol engine, which will generate 265 PS of power and 370 Nm of torque. Its engine can be paired with a 7-speed DCT transmission. Volkswagen Golf GTI can be launched in the Indian market at an ex-showroom price of around Rs 52 lakh. In India, it will compete with the Mini Cooper S.
