Vivo V50 with 50MP selfie camera and 80W fast charging will be launched soon
Just two months after the Vivo V40 series, the company has started working on the Vivo V50 series. It may include Vivo V50 and V50e. According to reports, this series can be launched in February or March next year. Vivo V50 is expected to have the same features as Vivo V40. Many details of it have been revealed before the launch.

The IMEI database showed the next series a few days ago, but there isn't much information available at the present. The corporation is purportedly developing two new models for the series, as reported by this source. Comparable to the Vivo V30, the Vivo V40 was quite similar. Currently, testing has revealed the Vivo V50.
Vivo V50 is rumoured to offer characteristics similar to those of Vivo V40. It may be quite different in certain instances, though. The release date of this series has not been announced by Vivo, but if rumours are to be believed, it could hit the international scene in February or March of the following year.
What is special in Vivo v40 series:
- Display: Both the phones in the Vivo V40 series have a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. Its aspect ratio is 20: 9 and its resolution is 2800 × 1260 pixels. The brightness of the display is 4,500 nits.
- Processor: Vivo V40 comes with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Paired with the Adreno 720 GPU. While the Pro version has a SoC processor provided by MediaTek Dimensity 9200+, ready to use on heavy tasking.
- Camera: Vivo V40 offers a 50MP main shutter and another 50MP wide-angle lens on the backside. The front camera features a 50MP sensor for selfie and video calling. Coming to the Pro variant, it supports 50MP main + 50MP wide angle + 50MP telephoto and 50MP front camera.
- Battery and OS: The phone draws power from a 5,500mAh battery supporting 80W flash charging. These have Funtouch OS based on Android 14.
