Vivo is preparing to launch Vivo V50 as a successor to the Vivo V40 series launched last year. The company is bringing it with many upgraded features. Before the launch, it has been listed on many certifications. Where all the details including its specifications have been found. They were listed on the BIS website in December. At the same time, the series has been seen on NCC certification recently. Where the details of all its features have been found. 

Vivo V50 has been spotted in the NCC listing carrying the model number V2427. Vivo is expected to launch the V50 as a rebadged version of the recently launched Vivo S20 in China. The company had also brought the Vivo V40 to India as a rebadged version of the S19 series. The phone is being brought in Deep Blue, Gray, and Shimmery White colors.

The listing reads 5,870mAh, which can be marketed as 6,000mAh at launch, and it has a maximum charging speed of 90.2W. Connectivity options on the Vivo V50 include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS.

Expected Specifications of Vivo V50

  • Price (expected): The base variant of the Vivo S20 was priced at CNY 2,299 (~Rs. 26,790), while the launch price of the V50 is expected to be close to what the Vivo V40 launched at Rs. 34,999 for the variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
  • Display: It can feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
  • Performance and Memory: The smartphone could arrive with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, up to 12GB RAM, and as much as 512GB of internal storage.
  • Camera: V50 may use the same camera as Vivo V40 with a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP front camera for selfies.
  • OS: The phones are going to run on Android 15 based Funtouch OS 15.
  • Battery and Charging: The listing confirms a 6000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support, which is a slight upgrade over its previous model. The previous series had a 5,500 mAh battery.
