Vivo launching Vivo Y18t with features like 50MP primary camera and 5000 mAh battery at affordable price
Vivo has launched a new smartphone in India under its Y series. The company has bought it for less than Rs 10,000. The smartphone is available for sale on Vivo India e-store and Flipkart. The phone has a 5000 mAh battery with 18W charging support. Two color options have been launched in it.
Vivo has secretly introduced Vivo Y18t smartphone in the Indian market. The smartphone comes up with the rating of IP54 to keep it safe from water and dust particles. It even has a dual-camera unit in which a 50MP primary sensor has been installed. In addition to this, the phone is priced at an affordable rate and offers two color options. The new Vivo Y18t has been launched with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, and its price is Rs 9,499. It will be available in two colors namely, Gem Green and Space Black. The phone can be purchased from online shopping site Flipkart and Vivo India e-store. The phone runs on Android14 Best Funtouch OS 14 operating system. It sports a 6.56-inch HD + LCD display supporting 840 nits peak brightness. Its resolution is 720x1,612 pixels. The display works at the rate of 90 Hz.
Processor and Memory
The performance is taken care of by a Unisoc T612 processor. Then there are 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1. The phone has an extended RAM feature. Its inbuilt RAM can be extended up to 8 GB with the help of an SSD card.
Camera
In the camera section, a 50-megapixel primary sensor, coupled with a 0.08 secondary sensor, has been provided for photography. There is an 8-megapixel sensor for taking selfies and video calling.

Its onboard sensors include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, motor gyroscope and proximity sensor. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
Phones like Redmi 13c, Poco M6 5G and Samsung Galaxy A14 5G are offered in this segment. All these smartphones are priced under Rs 10,000.
