Violence on Ram Navami... Organization of Muslim countries expressed concern

Organization of Islamic Cooperation i.e. OIC, an organization of Muslim countries, has expressed concern over the violence in different parts of India on Ram Navami. A statement has been issued by the organization in this matter. It says that we are concerned about the violence that took place during the Ram Navami procession in India.
On the other hand, India termed the statement of OIC as wrong and said that it is part of their communal mindset and anti-India agenda. Foreign Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi said- We condemn the statement of OIC. OIC has once again revealed that they have a communal ideology and their agenda is anti-India.
In the statement issued by the OIC General Secretariat, the violence in Bihar Sharif of Bihar on March 31 has been specially mentioned. It is alleged that a library was set on fire in this incident. Islamophobia has also been mentioned in the statement.
In the statement, the Government of India and the local administrations have been demanded to take strict action against the culprits. Apart from this, the violence in Nalanda has been discussed in this statement. Nalanda Police has said that 50 people have been arrested so far in connection with the violence.
The OIC was established in May 1971 after the 1967 Arab-Israeli War. Its purpose was to help Palestine and free it from the shadow of Israel. It started with 30 countries, today 57 countries are its members. Their total population is about 180 crores.
Generally, Saudi Arabia dominated it in every round. There are two reasons for this. First- The two biggest centers of the faith of Muslims i.e. Mecca and Medina are in Saudi only. Second- Economically no other Muslim country even comes close to Saudi.
Countries with less Muslim population like Thailand and Russia have also got OIC observer status, but India with around 200 million Muslim population does not have this status. In 1969, the then President of India Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed was invited to attend the first OIC conference. However, the invitation given to India was cancelled after Pakistan's objection.
It has been more than 50 years since OIC was formed. How successful was it in making Israel bow down and getting Palestine it's due? Understand this with just one example, the picture will be clear. In 1948, Palestine was divided into two parts. Palestine got 48% of the total land and Israel 44%. 8% came in the share of Jerusalem and it came under the patronage of UNO. Today Palestine has shrunk to just 12% of the land. Israel has grabbed 36% of its land. The question is what the OIC kept doing...?
