Vasundhara Vee, a powerful vocalist, makes her Bollywood playback debut with the energetic title track of Kangana Ranaut's Dhaakad
The song appears at a point in the film when Agni, the protagonist, has reached rock bottom; she is broken, and this song is her inner voice telling her to "get up"—to remember who she is and to face life with renewed vigour and resolve.
Vasundhara comes back with the headlines of her first inning as a Hindi film industry playback for the title track of Kangana Ranaut-Arjun Rampal starrer Dhaakad, following her inspiring video single Run from last year. "The song's emotional landscape struck a chord with me." Dhaakad encompasses everything I sing about self-love, inner strength, coping, and personal authenticity. "Emotionally, the content was very ME," Vasundhara says, despite the fact that she was stepping outside of her comfort zone.

Vasundhara's foray into singing for a Bollywood OST on her own terms demonstrates her tenacity and dedication to her own musical identity, as she refuses to compromise her musical identity in order to fit into commercial cinema tropes. The track wants to celebrate a strong female lead and reflects the feminine as a resilient entity defying all expectations and stereotypes, highlighting the agency of her vocal contribution.
Vee's educational programme includes new techniques that fill many unmentioned or untaught gaps in traditional vocal training, allowing singers to gain a holistic understanding of the voice. As part of this effort, she has written a book titled Big Dreams, Bold Choices—Handbook for Emerging Professional Musicians in India, which aims to assist young musicians in laying a solid foundation for their careers in music.

Vasundhara's sound palette has also been adopted by a number of well-known fashion designers. Ravi Bajaj, Ashish N Soni, and Suneet Varma (to name a few) have all styled her at their fashion shows, and she has also performed at the Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week Finale.
