Varun Dhawan wants to work in South Indian films: Said- I grew up watching Tamil and Telugu films with my father
Recently Varun Dhawan has expressed his desire to work in South films. Actually, some time back Varun had reached the round table organized by Galta Plus. During this, Varun said that many people consider him more a South actor than a North actor, so he would definitely like to work in South films.
In fact, during the round table, director Karan Johar revealed that Varun is very much interested in working in a South film, so much so that he wants to live in Hyderabad or Chennai. On this, South actor Karthi said that Varun had told him about his wish. On this Varun said- 'We have released the film Bhediya in Telugu with the name Thodelu. During the launch, seeing my energy level and film choice, the people there said that I look more like a South actor than a North actor. I would definitely like to work in South films. Since childhood, my father and I used to watch Tamil and Telugu films together.
During the conversation, Varun said – If I get a chance, I would definitely like to work. There are many such brilliant filmmakers on my bucket list. I don't know how all this will happen, but I am sure it will definitely happen.' Pointing towards Salman, Varun further said - Salman is a producer, maybe he will give me work. On this Dulkar said - I cannot afford you.
On the work front, Varun was recently seen in the film Bhediya. He will soon be seen in Nitesh Tiwari's film Vabal opposite Janhvi Kapoor.
