Indian tennis players N Sriram Balaji and Yuki Bhambri have advanced to the next round, winning with different partners in the doubles match at the US Open 2024. A while ago, the duo of Sriram Balaji and Guido Andreozzi reached the next round of the men's doubles, beating the pair of New Zealand's Marcus Daniel and Mexico's Miguel Angel Reyes-Varela in a thrilling three-set match played on Wednesday.

The Indo-Argentine pair came from behind after losing the first set 5-7, built pressure by winning the second set 6-1, and then won the third set 12-10. The Indo-Argentine duo won the match which lasted two hours and 36 minutes.

Meanwhile, India's Yuki Bhambri and his French partner Albano Olivetti won in straight sets to get an easy win. The duo reached the next round by defeating the American wildcard pairing of Patrick Trahak and Ryan Segerman 6-3, 6-4 in a 77-minute match.

The veteran Indian, Rohan Bopanna along with his Australian partner Matthew Ebden, will play the Dutch combine of Robin Haase and Sander Arends in their first match on Thursday. Other than this, Bopanna will also play in the mixed doubles with Indonesia's Aldila Sutjiadi.
