Upcoming EVs in 2024: This electric car will enter with affordable price and tremendous range, see list

The demand for electric cars is continuously increasing within the Indian automobile market. Keeping this in mind, many affordable EVs will be introduced by the Indian automaker next year. These include names like Tata Punch EV to Maruti Suzuki eVX. Come, let us know about them.

Maruti Suzuki eVX
Maruti Suzuki will enter the electric car market with its eVX SUV and it is expected to be launched in late 2024. It was introduced at the Auto Expo 2023 held in early 2023. Talking about dimensions, the Maruti Suzuki eVX is almost similar to the already existing Grand Vitara. The eVX has an estimated range of around 550 km and is powered by a 60 kWh battery pack.

Tata Punch EV
Earlier this year, Tata introduced the Punch compact SUV in its CNG avatar and now the company is going to give this model an electric avatar. The Punch EV is built on the ALFA platform, which uses Tata's second-generation EV architecture. Tata may position this EV as the most budget-friendly electric SUV in India. The Punch EV will likely be available with two battery pack options, including mid-range and long-range.

Mahindra XUV300 EV
XUV300 EV will be introduced by Mahindra to give tough competition to the Tata Nexon EV. The XUV300 EV is expected to incorporate design elements inspired by the upcoming XUV300 facelift and maintain a length of less than 4 metres. While the electric variant, the XUV300 EV, has a 35 kWh battery, which is slightly smaller than the 40 kWh battery of the top-spec XUV400. However, no details have been revealed regarding its range and electric motor.
