Unemployed rally in Jaipur in support of police: Government should increase the grade pay of constable, declare Lumpy as a national epidemic
After the continuous death of cows in Rajasthan, the unemployed have opened a front against the government. On Sunday, the unemployed people of Rajasthan demonstrated for the demand to declare lumpy disease as a national calamity and increase the constable grade pay. During this, a large number of youth gathered at Ravana Gate under the leadership of Upen Yadav. From where the rally took out till the fork intersection and demonstrated.
Upen Yadav said that lakhs of cows have died due to lumpy disease. But it has not been declared a national pandemic so far. Due to this neither the cows are getting proper treatment till now. Nor have the Gopalkos who raised them received compensation for the death of the cows. That is why today we have taken out a foot march and demanded that the disease be declared a national epidemic. So that the cattle can be treated at the right time.
Upen said that thousands of police constables in Rajasthan serve the general public for 365 days. But neither they are being given mess allowance by the government, nor are they getting leave. In such a situation, today we have also demanded to increase the grade pay of the police constable to 3600. Because policemen can't organize agitations for themselves. If the government has not done so now. So we will do furious demonstrations in the future. For which only the government will be responsible.
