Sirohi News: In view of the increasing incidents of mobile theft, Pindwara police took the matter seriously and formed special teams to catch the accused. During the investigation, about 50 CCTV footages were scanned. Both the accused were arrested on the basis of technical analysis and intelligence gathering.

The police at Pindwara arrested two accused in the mobile and cash robbery case. The mobile stolen along with the money has also been recovered. The police say that the crime was committed nearly a month ago.

Anil Kumar, Superintendent of Police, stated that the group under the supervision of Pindwara Police Station Officer Bhavani Singh Rajawat arrested Madhuram, son of Lasmaram Garasiya, and Kantilal, son of Lasmaram Garasiya of Bankavas, Police Station Bakaria, District Udaipur, currently residing at Kantal, Police Station Pindwara. In the action, the stolen mobile has also been seized from the accused. ASI Somaram, Head Constable Mohanlal, Constable Arji, Arvind Kumar, Lokesh Kumar, Jitendra Singh, Bhavesh Kumar, Chhaganlal, and Constable Ramesh Kumar from DCRB Sirohi took part in the action.

The incident is from Ajari village, Pindwara police station area. The victim Walaram son of Gomaram Garasiya told in the report lodged in the police station that on the night of March 2, 2025, at around 10:30 pm, he had dinner with the family and went to sleep. When he woke up to urinate at around 12 in the night, the mobile and bag were safe, but when he woke up at 5 am on March 3, his Redmi company mobile (model C305, IMEI number 869541061135136) and charger were missing. The mobile had SIM number 6377637889 loaded. Also, one of his handbags containing bills for selling papayas was also stolen.

During interrogation, the accused confessed to a total of six mobile theft incidents in the Pindwara, Rebariwas, Rampura, and Sarupganj areas. In one of these incidents, the accused have also confessed to beating Ramesh Singh son of Jujar Singh Rajput, and robbing his mobile and in the other, snatching the mobile from Ramesh Kumar son of Dhanaram Garasiya by snatching it.
