TVS X electric scooter launch, its new features will surprise you, this will be the starting price

TVS Motor Company has finally launched its much-awaited electric scooter 'X' in Dubai on Wednesday (August 23). Talking about the price and delivery of the next TVS X electric scooter, its initial price (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) has been kept at Rs 2.50 lakh. At the same time, its delivery will start in November. However, initially, the deliveries of the scooter will start only in Bengaluru. At the same time, it will be available in 15 other cities before the end of the year.

This TVS electric scooter is based on the XLETON platform. It has a spacious 19-litre luggage compartment where you can keep all your essentials. With a ground clearance of 175 mm and a rider seat height of 770 mm, the TVS X offers a well-balanced riding position. In addition, the TVS X is offered with three riding modes namely Xtride, Xtealth, and Xonic.

The TVS X electric scooter has been made quite attractive. It gets a 10-inch TFT instrument cluster, which offers basic information along with a host of features. This multifunctional screen acts as an entertainment hub, allowing customers to reel, stream videos, and songs, and even play games. It caters to the needs of the modern urban dweller along with technology and entertainment.

The TVS X electric scooter gets hill-hold control as a standard feature. This technology prevents the scooter from rolling backward on inclined surfaces, thereby maintaining the confidence and safety of the driver during starts on hills.

However, the innovation in the scooter is given below. The scooter comes with a first-in-segment RAM-cooled electric motor that guarantees efficient scooter cooling and peak performance.

The X scooter is powered by an 11 kW motor and 4.4 kW battery, which can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in just 2.4 seconds. It generates 14.7 bhp power and can achieve a top speed of 105 kmph. Also the battery pack offers an IDV range of 140km.

TVS X has both portable and rapid charger options. The scooter is offered with two types of chargers – it features a 950W off-board charger and a 3000W wall charger. TVS claims that the battery can be charged up to 80 percent in just 3 hours 40 minutes.
