TVS started production of BMW CE 02, manufacturing is taking place at the company's Hosur plant

BMW CE 02: BMW CE 02 production begins at TVS Motor's Hosur manufacturing unit. Apart from this, TVS also produced the 150,000th unit of BMW Motorrad's 310 cc series motorcycles. The Apache RTR 310 received a lot of appreciation and the manufacturer has started production of the motorcycle. The brand will start deliveries and test rides soon.

TVS started production of BMW CE 02, manufacturing is taking place at the company's Hosur plant

TVS Motor Company and BMW Motorrad today celebrated their 10-year-long partnership. On this milestone, the production of BMW CE 02 started at TVS Motor's Hosur manufacturing unit. Additionally, TVS also produced the 1,50,000th unit of BMW Motorrad's 310 cc series of motorcycles.

The two companies have together developed and launched five popular motorcycles, including the BMW G 310 R, BMW 310 GS, and BMW G310 RR along with TVS Motor Company's flagship motorcycles, the TVS Apache RR 310 and the recently launched TVS Apache RTR. 310 are included.

The Apache RTR 310 received a lot of appreciation and the manufacturer has started production of the motorcycle. The brand will start deliveries and test rides soon. The price of the motorcycle ranges between Rs 2.43 lakh to Rs 2.64 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom. Next is BMW's CE 02 electric scooter.

At present, it is not known whether it will go on sale in the Indian market or not. The electric motor uses a belt drive to transfer power and the motor itself produces a maximum power output of 54.91 Nm at 1,000 rpm.

It has two riding modes, Surf and Flow. Apart from this, it also has a reverse gear. The bike features an LED headlamp, ABS on the front wheel, a USB-C charging socket, and a 3.5-inch TFT display. The TVS Apache RTR 310 will come with a bi-directional quick-shifter, race-tuned linear stability control, a trellis frame with a lightweight aluminum subframe, and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

The motorcycle will also be offered with customization options under the brand's Build to Order (BTO) platform.
