Toyota Innova HyCross will get a new non-hybrid variant, details revealed
The new variant of Toyota Innova Hycross has been named GX (O). It will be placed above all other variants and will be available only with petrol engines. Toyota has not yet officially announced the arrival of the new Innova HighCross variant. According to the official website, the GX (O) variant of the Innova Highcross MPV will come with a seating capacity of eight people including the driver.

GX (O) is the new name for the Toyota Innova Hycross variant. It will come with only petrol engines and be positioned above all other variants. The release date of the new Innova HighCross variant has not yet been formally announced by Toyota. It will, however, include a list of every feature that has been added.
According to Toyota's official website, the GX (O) variant of the Innova Highcross MPV will come with a seating capacity of eight people, including the driver. The MPV will also be offered in a seven-seat configuration with captain seats.
Under the hood will be the same 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that is used for all other variants of the MPV. The engine will be mated to a CVT transmission unit. The engine can produce around 173 bhp of power and 209 Nm of peak torque.
This Innova High Cross variant won't look all that different from previous versions. The Innova HighCross GX (O)'s interior will have a dual-tone black and chestnut brown design. Among its features is a sizable infotainment system with a 10.1-inch touchscreen that will include Toyota's Connect Audio function.
In addition, this MPV will have an automatic climate control system, a 360-degree camera with a panoramic view guide a dynamic back guide, and a retractable sunshade on the back. The second-row powered ottoman seats, the panoramic sunroof, and Adas technology are additional features.
Toyota currently sells the Innova HighCross non-hybrid version in four variants. Prices for the petrol-only Innova HighCross start at Rs 18.92 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to Rs 19.82 lakh (ex-showroom) for the GX 8-seater variant. Expect an additional ₹50,000 premium when the upcoming GX (O) variant of the MPV is launched.
