Total 7.62 crore mobile customers in Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh

Telecom regulator TRAI has released the data of mobile customers of the Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh circle. According to TRAI data, Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh has a total of 7.62 crore mobile customers in December 2022, including all companies. Jio continues to lead the circle with 3.82 crore subscribers.
According to TRAI data, in December 2022, Jio added a maximum of 4.04 lakh mobile customers in the Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh circle. Jio's subscriber base in the circle has crossed 3.82 crores. Reliance Jio's market share in the Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh circle has crossed 50% for the first time. Jio's stake now stands at 50.1%. This means now every second mobile customer in Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh belongs to Jio.
According to the data, Vodafone-Idea had a 22.8% share and Airtel 20% in Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh. ‌BSNL's market share is 7.1%. In December 2022, Airtel's mobile customers decreased by 3.8 thousand to 1.52 crore. Vodafone Idea lost 2.63 lakh customers during this period, now the company has 1.73 crore customers in its circle. BSNL customers decreased by 61.8 thousand to 54.4 lakh.
All major companies have added fibre broadband customers in December 2022. According to TRAI data, Jio added 18.8 thousand fibre customers in December. Jio Fiber now has 5.19 lakh customers in the circle. During this period, the number of broadband customers of Airtel increased by 8.1 thousand to 4.14 lakh. At the same time, the total number of broadband customers of Vodafone-Idea is 35.2 thousand. BSNL's subscriber base increased by 2.4 thousand to 2.61 lakh.
In December 2022, there are a total of 114.2 crore mobile customers across the country. In this, Jio has 42.1 crores, Airtel 36.7 crore, Voda-Idea 24.1 crore and BSNL 10.6 crore.
Jio True 5G service is being launched rapidly in Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh. So far Jio True 5G service has started in 18 cities of MP-Chhattisgarh. Jio True 5G service has been launched in Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Rewa, Ratlam, Sagar and Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh and Raipur, Durg, Bhilai, Bilaspur, Korba, Rajnandgaon, Dhamtari, Ambikapur and Raigarh in Chhattisgarh.
