Rajasthan: A case of kidnapping of a councilor and another youth has come to light in Tonk, Rajasthan. Both were taken to a room and beaten badly. Currently, both have been admitted to the Deoli District Hospital.

On Friday morning, people in a car kidnapped a councilor of Nagar Palika Deoli and a youth on Nekchal Road of Deoli city in Tonk district. They were also taken to a room and beaten badly. In the incident, the councilor and the youth were badly injured and were admitted to the Sub District Hospital Deoli by the Deoli Police.

Actually, this councilor is Pratap Vishwas of Ward No. 3. The other injured youth is Kumud Poddar, a resident of Bengali Colony. Both are residents of the Bengali Colony of Deoli. Victim Pratap Vishwas said that on Friday, he was returning to the village on a bike coming from Nasirada in the morning. During this, Kumud Poddar also happened to be along with him. Here, on the Deoli village road, about 50 meters away from Nekchal Balaji, a white-colored Thar coming towards Deoli hit the councilor's bike, from which more than half a dozen people got out. They caught them, made them sit in the car, and took them to a house behind Pratap Narayan Colony on Jaipur Road in Deoli. Where Councilor Pratap Vishwas and Kumud Poddar were beaten with iron pipes.

During this attack, the leg of Councilor Pratap Vishwas was fractured. On one side, Kumud Poddar was also beaten very badly and internally injured; he had become very frightened. According to Councilor Pratap Vishwas, those persons threatened to kill him, showing a pistol. At this time, Kumud's phone was with him, Kumud informed the colony by a call about his being taken to Pratap Narayan Colony.

So, on getting information about this, Deoli police and people of Bengali society reached there and got the house opened and admitted both the injured to Deoli sub-district hospital. Pratap Vishwas said that out of these he knows Badal Meena, Deepu Gurjar, Alok, and Atmaram.
