To avoid Airbag Injury, always keep these things in mind, a major accident will be averted if the vehicle collides!

Airbags play a very important role in keeping the driver and passengers safe during an accident. This is the reason why major car manufacturing companies of the country have started providing 6 airbags as standard in all their vehicles.

However, it is important to take some precautions regarding airbags, many times it happens that people get injured due to them. Let us know about some important things to avoid such unpleasant incidents.

Avoid placing any heavy or hard objects on the dashboard. If the airbag deploys in the event of a collision, these objects may hit your face and cause additional injuries.

While sitting inside the car, keep in mind that your seat is at an appropriate distance from the dashboard of the car. There should be at least 10 inches of distance between your chest and the steering wheel while driving. Doing this will allow the airbag to open quickly but will not hurt your face.

Place your hands on the steering wheel at the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock positions. Avoid placing hands and arms between the steering wheel as this may cause injury if the airbag deploys.

Always wear your seat belt properly. Seatbelts and airbags work together to provide protection. If a child is travelling with you, then make him sit at the back. Children under 13 years of age must be seated in the rear seat to avoid airbag injury.
