Three students died due to the collapse of the roof of a dilapidated water tank in Bikaner
Bikaner News: While taking out water from the water tank in the Government Primary School Devanada, the weak roof of the dilapidated tank collapsed and all three students died after falling into the tank.

In an unfortunate accident, that occurred in Government Primary School Devanada of Kedli village of the district's Nokha, three innocent children lost their lives when the rusty top of the water tank fell down when water was being withdrawn from the water reservoir established in the school. The deceased children are 8-year-old Pragya, daughter of Rekha Ram Jat, Bharti, daughter of Omaram Jat, and Raveena, daughter of Bagaram.
The incident happened when the three girls had gone to draw water from the water tank. The collapsing rooftop of the water tank then gave way and the three girls fell into the water tank. The villagers, after the accident, immediately recovered them and moved them to the Nokha district hospital, where the physicians pronounced them deceased.
The shocking thing is that a teacher of the school had written a letter to the education department in November, informing about the potential danger due to the dilapidated tank and demanding immediate repair, but the administration ignored it. As a result, this tragic accident happened, in which three innocent girls lost their lives.
On getting information about the incident, Nokha's subdivision officer Gopal Jangid and police station officer Amit Swami reached the hospital and started investigating the whole matter. The administration has also informed the education department about the incident and has issued orders to investigate the matter.
