Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani's family has received death threats again. According to sources, eight threatening phone calls were made to the display number of HN Reliance Foundation Hospital. The caller threatened to kill his entire family in three hours. One person has been detained from the Dahisar area in this case.
The hospital management had lodged a complaint regarding this matter at the DB Marg police station. Mumbai Police started investigating the matter by forming three teams. In the initial investigation, it was found that the caller is the same and he has made eight consecutive calls. After this, a person was taken into custody by tracing the location of the caller. His interrogation is still going on.
Police have said that during the initial interrogation, the caller appears to be mentally unsound. However, he is yet to be questioned in detail. Earlier, the Mumbai Police was alerted as soon as Ambani received a complaint about the threat. The police commissioner was also informed about the matter. At the same time, the security of the Ambani family and Antilia has been tightened.
In February 2021, an explosive-laden SUV was recovered from outside Antilia, in which 20 gelatin sticks and a letter were found. Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani were threatened in the letter. In this case, the name of Mumbai Police's encounter specialist Sachin Vajhe came. Right now NIA is probing this case.
Mukesh Ambani was provided Z+ security by the then Manmohan Singh government in 2013 after he received threats from Hizbul Mujahideen. His wife Nita Ambani was provided Y + security by the central government in 2016. Their children are also given graded security by the Maharashtra government.
