States can play an active role in achieving the goal of developing India by 2047 because they are directly connected to the people. Developing India by 2047 is the ambition of every Indian. This was said by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the 9th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog on Saturday.

PM Modi said that this decade is of changes, technological and geopolitical as well as opportunities. India should take advantage of these opportunities and make its policies conducive to international investment. This is a step of progress towards making India a developed nation.

The vision document on Developed India @ 2047 was also discussed in the Governing Council meeting. Detailed discussions were also held on the role of states in achieving the goal of developing India. India is on its way to becoming the third largest economy in the world and its target is to become a 30 trillion dollar economy by 2047.

A collaborative approach between the central and state governments will be required to realize the dream of a Developed India by 2047. The 9th Governing Council meeting was held to create a roadmap for this dream and to promote teamwork between the Center and the states as Team India. The recommendations of the Third National Conference of Chief Secretaries were also considered in the meeting.

The theme of the NITI Aayog meeting is "Developed India @ 2047". Its main objective is to make India a developed nation. To promote participatory governance and cooperation between the central and state governments, to enhance the quality of life of rural and urban people by strengthening the delivery mechanism of government interventions.
