On Tuesday, the Home Minister addressed a rally in Rajouri. During this, he said that soon reservations will be given to Gurjar, Bakarwal and Pahari communities. It was prepared. The commission has sent its recommendations regarding this.
Shah said- Judge Sharma's commission has sent the report and recommended reservation for Gujjar, Bakarwal and Pahari communities and it will be given soon. Rajouri, Handwara, Poonch and Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir have a large population of hill people. The people of this community have influence in 10 assembly seats in 5 districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
Shah said that for 70 years Jammu and Kashmir were ruled by 3 families. Democracy was built only in their families. The three families had made democracy and Cumhuriyet the meaning of ruling only for generations. Earlier the right which was with 3 families, today 30 thousand people have got that right. The slogan of Modi- Modi in the rally is the answer to those who used to say that if Article 370 is removed, there will be fire and rivers of blood will flow. If Articles 370 and 35A are not removed, then there would be no tribal reservation in Jammu and Kashmir.
Shah said that after the abrogation of Article 370, people in Jammu and Kashmir got the benefits of various government schemes. Democracy grows stronger when people welcome change. He said that in recent months a record-breaking 50 lakh tourists have come to Jammu and 22 lakh tourists have gone to Kashmir. The youth of Jammu and Kashmir will benefit greatly from tourism.
He said that PM Modi gave computers and jobs to those youths who had stones in their hands. Earlier there used to be incidents of stone pelting, have you seen any such incidents now? Now there is no such incident. We have to understand the change that has happened now. We have identified those in the administration who were supporting terrorism and uprooted them.
On Tuesday, he offered prayers at the Vaishno Devi temple. During this, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha and Union Minister Jitendra Singh were also present. After becoming the Home Minister, Shah reached the temple for the first time.
