Due to the highest demand for this vehicle, its waiting list is also very long. So far in the 11 months of its launch, its booking has been done for a total of 1.5 lakhs.

Changes in Features

With the launch of this vehicle of the company, its demand is increasing very fast. At the same time, its waiting period is up to 18-24 months. The company wants to increase its production to an average of 4,000-6,000 units. Its base trim costs Rs 13.18 lakh while its top-spec variant costs Rs 24.58 lakh. Mahindra XUV700 feature update is done after the launch of the Mahindra Scorpio N SUV. The company has decided to make many changes to its feature. At the same time, some of its features have also been removed. MX, AX3, AX5, AX7, and AX7 L are the variants in which these changes have been made in the features. The Mahindra XUV700 MX has dropped its rear parking sensors, height-adjustable driver seat, rear spoiler, and follow-me-home headlights. On the other hand, the AX3 trim has been removed for its rear wiper, defogger and door, and boot-lid features. Let us tell you that the AX5 and AX7 will no longer get LED turn indicators. Along with this, the company has also removed the adaptive cruise control feature on the XUV700 AX 7 L MT trim. On the other hand, the AX7 L AT trim can get adaptive cruise control and start-stop function in its top spec.

What features will be available?

Mahindra XUV700 SUV got many features at the time of launch itself. On the other hand, considering the safety, it also gets the Advance Driver Assistant System (ADAS) as well as Forward Collision Warning. It has features like cruise control, smart pilot assist, traffic sign recognition, etc. For safety, it also gets 7 airbags, traction control, a tire pressure monitoring system, blind spot monitoring, and 360 degrees. Due to its strong body cell, it has been given a 5-star rating by the Global NCAP.

Talking about the engine of this vehicle, two engine options have been given in it. Along with this, there is a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol unit that generates power of 200 hp and peak torque of 380 Nm. Its 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine has been given. This is useful in two situations, in one it generates power of 115 hp and peak torque of 360 Nm. On the other hand, this vehicle is capable of generating torque of 420 Nm. It has a 6-speed torque converter and is mated to an automatic transmission.
