Elvish Yadav Snake Venom Case: OTT 2, Winner of Bigg Boss For all the wrong reasons these days, Elvish Yadav has been taking up all the attention. Five people were taken into custody during a raid by the Noida Police earlier this week at a banquet hall in Sector 51, following a complaint made by the People For Animals (PFA) NGO. In its First Information Report, the PFA named Elvish and accused him of throwing rave parties wherein they attract foreign guests and set up deadly snakes.

He spent more than two hours being questioned by the Noida Police yesterday over the issue. According to the results of the veterinary department's most recent study, out of the nine snakes, five cobras had their venom glands removed, and the remaining four were determined not to be toxic. Nine poisonous snakes were found during the raid, in case you were unaware. Removing a snake's venom glands is against the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, and those found guilty face a seven-year prison sentence.

Following an investigation by the veterinary department, it was found that eight of the nine snakes had lost their teeth.

If sources are to be trusted, Elvish Yadav arrived at the Sector 20 police station on Tuesday night at midnight, and Noida Police questioned him for over two hours.

It is reported that throughout the interrogation, officials at the DCP, ADCP, and ACP levels were present. Following the questioning, Elvish Yadav was granted permission to depart. 

To evade the spotlight from the media, reports also stated that Elvish Yadav called the police and agreed to stay up late at night for an interrogation.

Earlier, Elvish denied all of the accusations on Instagram. "I woke up to the news that Elvish Yadav has been arrested," he said, releasing his statement in Hindi. Drugs and other items have been found on Elvish Yadav. These disinformation campaigns were directed at me. These are all unfounded charges made against me. All of them are false. It is completely devoid of any truth—not even a single element. I'm ready to cooperate with the UP Police.
