PM Modi has been met on behalf of Elon Musk. During this, Musk expressed his eagerness to set up Tesla's manufacturing plant in India. Also said that there are immense possibilities regarding new energy in India.

On Tuesday, on the first day of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's US tour, he met Elon Musk, the world's richest man and CEO of electric car company Tesla. After meeting PM Modi, Musk said that the conversation went very well.
On being asked questions by journalists about meeting PM Modi, Musk said that it was a great and very good conversation. We will try to come to India as soon as humanly possible.
Further said that I thank Prime Minister Modi for his support. I hope we will be able to announce something in the near future. Also, he called himself a fan of PM Modi.
Musk further said that there is immense potential for the development of New Energy in India. This includes solar power, battery packs, electric vehicles, etc. He is hopeful that Starlink satellite internet service can come to India soon.
Earlier, in an interview given in the American media, Musk had said that Tesla could come to India by this end. For this, talks are on with the Government of India. India is a good place to set up a new manufacturing plant.
Due to the conflict between USA and China, American companies are shifting their manufacturing plants from China to other countries.
At present, Elon Musk is the richest person in the world. According to the Bloomberg Billionaire Index, he has assets of around $233 billion. He owns Tesla, Starlink, Neurolink, and Twitter.
