Terrorists shot a civilian in Jammu and Kashmir: who died during treatment

Terrorists shot dead a civilian in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag late Monday evening. The deceased has been identified as Deepu. Deepu was a resident of Udhampur in Jammu and worked at the circus fair in Anantnag.
After firing, the terrorists fled from the spot. Deepu was later taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. At present, the police have registered the case and an investigation is on. Immediately after the incident, the police started a search operation and increased the force in the area to nab the terrorists.
Condemning the incident, former Jammu and Kashmir CM Mehbooba Mufti said, "Deeply saddened by yet another attack on an innocent civilian in Anantnag." My thoughts are with the family in this hour of grief. This says a lot about the policy of the Government of India which has been a colossal failure in J&K.
This is not the first case of terrorists targeting civilians in Jammu and Kashmir this year. In February, terrorists killed a Kashmiri Pandit in Pulwama. The deceased Sanjay Sharma used to work as a guard in his village. He was returning from duty in the morning. Then the terrorists opened fire on him and he died.
In November last year, two laborers from Uttar Pradesh's Kannauj district were killed by terrorists in Shopian. Terrorists hurled a grenade at Harman in Shopian, in which two laborers named Monish Kumar and Ram Sagar were injured. The injured had died in the hospital.
In August last year, a migrant from Bihar was shot dead by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district. Mohammad Amrej, a 19-year-old weaver from Madhepura in Bihar, was shot dead by terrorists.
