Telangana: Property worth more than Rs 4 crore found with Tehsildar in ACB raid, accused arrested
Telangana: The accused Tehsildar had acquired assets disproportionate to his known sources of income during his service through corrupt and dubious means. Doing so is a punishable offense so ACB officials registered an FIR in this matter and searches were conducted at the house of the accused and other places. During this period, movable and immovable properties worth approximately Rs 45666660 including net cash of Rs 20700000 were seized.
Telangana's Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday raided a tehsildar's house and other places in Nalgonda district. In this action, ACB recovered property worth Rs 4.56 crore including more than Rs 2 crore in cash.
An ACB release said a case of disproportionate assets was registered against the tehsildar of Marigudem Mandal as he allegedly earned income through corrupt and dubious means during his service, news agency PTI reported. Had acquired wealth beyond known sources.

During this period, movable and immovable properties worth approximately Rs 4,56,66,660 including net cash of Rs 2,07,00,000 were seized. ACB has arrested the accused Tehsildar.
