Ajit Agarkar has reached the capital Delhi for that meeting.
Ajit Agarkar was spotted sitting in the commentary box of the media center at Arun Jaitley Stadium during the Delhi-Mumbai match, according to sources cited by IANS. It is evident from his presence in Delhi that an extra meeting to finalize the Team India roster for the T20 World Cup 2024 can take place in Delhi at any time.
Earlier in the report it was said that Ajit Agarkar could meet captain Rohit Sharma in New Delhi as soon as he returns from holidays in Spain so that a decision can be taken on the Indian team for the T20 World Cup to be held in West Indies and America. In fact, the ICC has given May 1 as the last date for the teams participating in the T20 World Cup 2024 to announce the 15-member men's team.
India will begin its T20 World Cup 2024 campaign against Ireland on June 5 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. India has been placed in Group A along with Pakistan, Canada, Ireland, and tournament co-hosts USA.
