Tata Motors is making full preparations to launch the Nexon and Nexon EV facelift on 14 September in the Indian market. Currently, it comes in two variants Prime and Max. The facelifted Nexon EV is likely to be sold in medium-range (MR) and long-range (LR) versions, in line with the existing Prime and Max variants.
Tata will bring the Nexon EV facelift as the Tiago EV with two battery and range options. The mid-range variant of the Nexon EV facelift will come in two trims. While the long-range variant will come in three trims. This car will get a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and digital instrument cluster.
Its dashboard will be redesigned. Due to this, its design will look more modern. It will also get a new two-spoke steering wheel and touch-based HVAC control panel. Let us see what cosmetic changes will be seen in it. The design of Tata Nexon is heavily inspired by the Curve concept and its influence will be clearly visible on the front fascia.
There will be many updates in the design of this car. The front fascia will also get a slimmer front grille, redesigned headlamps, LED DRLs, and C-shaped housing for the fog lamps. As a new design cue, the side profile is expected to remain similar to the current version, except for the dual-tone alloy wheels.
The engine of this car is very powerful. It will get a 1.2-liter turbo petrol and a 1.5-liter engine. It will get a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox as a mechanical upgrade. It gets a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, and a 6-speed AMT unit in the transmission lineup. The 2023 Tata Nexon facelift will get full-width LED tail lamps.
