The electric version of Tata Curvv has been launched in the Indian market by Tata Motors. This is the country's first coupe SUV, which has been launched by Tata. Many great features have been offered in it.

The Tata Curve EV comes fitted with two battery options. In this SUV, one gets 45 kWh and another 55 kWh capacity battery option. Out of these, the long-range variant is available with an ARAI range of 585 km on a full charge. On the other hand, with a 45 kWh battery, it gets an ARAI range of 502 km. A 70kW charger can charge the car from 10% to 80% in just 40 minutes. In just 15 minutes, the SUV gets a range of up to 150 km.

Other features on the SUV include 18-inch wheels, 190 mm ground clearance, 450 mm water wading capacity, flush door handles, 500 liters boot space, a connected app, LED lights, ventilated seats, multi-drive modes, ambient light, panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate with gesture activation, cruise control, an air purifier, and rain-sensing wipers.

The Tata Curve EV has been made very safe. Apart from this, many such features have also been given in it which help in keeping the passengers safe during the journey. Six airbags have been given as standard in the SUV. Other than this, it gets a three-point ELR seatbelt, seatbelt anchor pre-tensioner, Fortified body structure, ISOFIX, 20 safety features with Level-2 ADAS, ESP, EPB, 360 surround view and front parking sensor.

The ex-showroom price of the electric version of Tata Curve has been kept at Rs 17.49 lakh. This is its introductory price, which can also be changed. Its top variant can be purchased at an ex-showroom price of Rs 21.99 lakh. Booking for this will start from August 12 and the test drive can be done from August 14. At the same time, the company will launch its petrol and diesel variants on September 2.

In the Indian market, Tata Curve will compete directly with SUVs like Citroen Basalt as well as Mahindra XUV 400, and MG ZS EV.
