Tata Motors has confirmed that the Curvv SUV will be launched on August 7 with petrol, diesel, and electric powertrains. On the company's lineup chart, its position falls between Nexon and Harrier. The upcoming Citroen Besalt is going to provide the biggest competition for Curv.

Tata Motors is now releasing teasers of the new SUV coupe on its social media page. It revealed that the brand would offer paddle shifters with the SUV, probably for manually controlling the gearbox, and in the EV version, the same would be used to change the level of brake regeneration.

It will get three drive modes—City, Eco, and Sport. It will get a digital driver display also taken from the Nexon EV and the Punch EV. Other features include auto climate control, ventilated front seats, a touchscreen infotainment system, a wireless charger, a multi-function steering wheel, and a sunroof. ADAS Suite might come on it as well.

The Tata Curvv will be powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine, which is already offered in the Tata Altroz and Nexon. It will also come with a turbo petrol motor, which is still unknown. Gearbox options are also expected to include a 6-speed manual unit and automatic transmission.

The new Curvv EV will be based on the same Active.EV platform that debuted on the Punch EV. With this, one can expect an estimated range of about 500 km for the Curvv EV. Some of the key features include vehicle-to-load, brake regeneration, driving modes, and DC charging.
