Tata Altroz Racer officially teased, expected to launch in June; Know what the features can be

Tata Motors has released a teaser for the Altroz racer, which is scheduled to be launched next month. This sportier variant of Tata's premium hatchback will get a more powerful engine and changed exterior design than the Altroz. The teaser shared by Tata Motors confirms that the Altroz Racer will come with a unique orange and black dual-tone exterior finish. The black trim will not be limited to the roof wing mirrors and window line. In this, the alloy wheels look similar to the current Altroz.

A few days ago, spy shots of the Tata Altroz Racer were revealed, which revealed that the Altroz Racer will get white racing lines on the bonnet. The model is also expected to have racer badges and a slightly changed grille.

The Altroz Racer's cabin is likely to undergo some modifications. The company can make a lot of cosmetic adjustments here. New upholstery and dashboard highlights are a couple of them. Tata plans to outfit the racer with an array of features surpassing those of the Altroz standard. Along with a voice-activated sunroof, voice-activated 360-degree camera, AC ventilated seats, and a head-up display, it might have a new 10.25-inch touchscreen.

About the engine of this car, nothing is known. Instead of the 110-horsepower, 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine found in the Altroz iTurbo, the Nexon is anticipated to have a 120-horsepower 1.2-liter engine. When it is introduced, the vehicle will go up against Hyundai's i20 N Line directly. An output of 120 horsepower and 172 Nm is generated by the i20 N Line engine. It is expected that the Tata Racer will be offered only in 6-speed manual form.
