A total of 55 matches will be played between 20 teams in the T20 World Cup 2024. These 20 teams will be divided into 4 groups of 5 each.

The top 2 teams from all four groups will qualify for the Super-8 round. The Super-8 teams will be divided into 2 groups of 4-4. The top 2 teams of both groups will qualify for the semi-finals. The first match of T20 World Cup 2024 will be played on 3rd June and the final match will be played on 30th June.
