Travis Head, Australia's powerful opener, is in fantastic form for the T20 World Cup 2024. Head's bat is on fire, and he is routinely scoring runs. He accomplished a significant feat as a result of his great shape. Head is ranked first in the current T20 batting rankings provided by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Head scored 76 runs in the Super Eight match against India, which aided him. He has dethroned India's Suryakumar Yadav to become the top batsman in the T20 rankings. Surya had held the number one spot for the past eight months, or from December 2023. During this time, he played numerous match-winning innings and scored frequently. But Head's excellent form in the World Cup overtook Surya.

Head jumped four places to overtake Surya, Phil Salt, Babar Azam, and Mohammad Rizwan one place each. West Indies' Johnson Charles has made it to the top ten with a jump of four places while Afghanistan's Rahmanullah Gurbaz has improved by five places to reach 11th position.

Australia's Marcus Stoinis has lost his top position and slipped to fourth place in the all-rounder rankings. India's Hardik Pandya has reached third place, Afghanistan's Mohammad Nabi is in second place and Sri Lanka's Wanindu Hasaranga has again reached the number 1 position.

West Indies' Roston Chase has emerged as a notable player among all-rounders by jumping 17 places to 12th position. In the bowling rankings, England's Adil Rashid retains the top spot but Afghanistan's Rashid Khan has moved up to second spot after his heroics in the World Cup. Australia's Josh Hazlewood also moved up three places to take fourth spot behind Hasaranga.
