Supreme Court asked the Delhi High Court to decide on Sukanya Mandal's petition soon, this is the whole matter

The Supreme Court on Friday asked the Delhi High Court to take a quick decision on the bail plea filed by Sukanya Mandal, daughter of TMC leader Anubrata Mandal, in the money laundering case related to the cattle smuggling case.

Mandal's Supreme Court lawyer, Vikas Pahwa, stated that his bail petition has been pending in the Delhi High Court for 11 months and that the case was adjourned at the last hearing and will be heard on July 12.

A vacation bench led by Justice Arvind Kumar informed Pahwa that we will ask the High Court to rule solely on your bail application. Justice Sandeep Mehta, who was on the bench, requested that the High Court rule on the bail plea within three weeks of the end of the holidays.

He has not commented on the case's merits. In July 2023, the Delhi High Court heard a challenge to the trial court's decision to deny bail. Since then the matter has been pending in the High Court.
