Rolls-Royce has now officially launched a new avatar of its super-ultra luxury SUV Cullinan Series II Series II in India. The starting price of the Cullinan Series II has been kept at Rs 10.5 crore. Which increases on adding customization options according to your choice. The Black Badge Cullinan series II has also been launched by the company. Whose price will start from Rs 12.25 crore ex-showroom. Rolls-Royce said the move was aimed at responding to changes in Indian luxury trends and customer preferences.

Since most of their customers are based in cities, Rolls-Royce has redesigned the Series II Cullinan to appeal more to a younger audience. According to the manufacturer, it takes inspiration from modern cities, where skyscrapers are lit up, thus forming vertical lines. The dashboard panel in front of the passenger boasts 7,000 dots laser-cutted at different angles to add depth to the design of the toughened security glass.

Where the lower portion of the dashboard of the Cullinan Series II is concerned, there's now a pillar-to-pillar glass panel that hosts digital craftsmanship alongside the physical craftsmanship that Rolls-Royce usually talks about.

Besides this, the digital upgrade also features an 18-speaker audio system and advanced connectivity options such as Wi-Fi hotspot connection and independent streaming for each screen. Option to connect the rear seat infotainment system via Bluetooth has also been included now. More than this, the Spirit of Ecstasy inside the Cullinan Series II has also been included in the driver display with an attractive animation.

Among its product lineup, the Cullinan Series II is one of the most popular models that Rolls-Royce has ever had. Then there is Black Badge: basically a more daring, sportier version of the exact same luxury SUV for those who would want to stand out from the crowd.

Coming to the engine, the facelifted luxury SUV is powered with the same 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine. Which churns out 571 hp of power and 850 Nm of torque. While the same engine with the Black Badge produces 600hp of power and 900Nm of torque. The engine comes mated with an 8-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels.

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II will be priced from Rs 10.5 crore, ex-showroom in India. The Black Badge Cullinan Series II will be priced from Rs 12.25 crore, ex-showroom. So, this SUV remains the most expensive SUV in India. And it has no direct rival at its price.

First deliveries to Indian customers, the maker claims, will begin in Q4 2024. Both Cullinan Series II and Black Badge variants can be personalised by purchasers at showrooms both in the country, at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Chennai and New Delhi.
