Sunny Deol was winning by about 82 thousand votes. Sunny Deol had made many tall claims with the people of Gurdaspur at that time.
He had said during his first press conference in 2019 that he would carry forward the work done for the betterment of the constituency on behalf of late Gurdaspur MP Vinod Khanna. After winning, his focus will be on the youth. His first task will be to provide jobs to the youth of the constituency. Big projects of development will be set up in the constituency.
