Singer KK was a resident of Delhi
Singer KK’s full name was Krishnakumar Kunnath but he was more famous than Singer KK. He was a resident of Delhi. He completed his graduation from Kirori Mal College there. He was greatly influenced by the famous singer Kishore Kumar and composer RD Burman since childhood. For the first time, while studying in the second class, he gave a singing performance on the step. After that, gradually the hobby of singing grew so much that he made it a career.

Before becoming a singer, he did the work of a salesman
The interesting thing is that before becoming a singer, he had worked as a salesman for about 8 months. However, he did not feel like doing that work and he soon understood that his real love was singing. He reached Mumbai in the year 1994 and then started singing jingles with singer Shibani Kashyap. His wife and family also gave full support in this work. He not only lent his voice to Hindi but also Gujarati, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, and Malayalam songs.
The song was sung in 3 thousand jingles
If we talk about the singing career of KK, then he had sung more than 3 thousand jingles. In the year 1999, he sang the song ‘Tadap-Tadap’ from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Which he got recognition across the country for the first time. An album of his was also released in the same year. A song from this album ‘Yaad Aayega Woh Pal’ became very popular among the youth. Even today, it is a popular song sung in the farewell ceremonies of schools and colleges.
