Dr. Priyanka Maurya Appointed to Uttar Pradesh State Women Commission by Yogi Adityanath Government
Dr. Priyanka Maurya, a famous homeopathic physician, social worker, and BJP leader has been appointed by the Yogi Adityanath government of the state of Uttar Pradesh to be a member of its Women Commission. Known for being the face of the Congress campaign "Ladki Hoon, Lad Sakti Hoon" during the 2022 assembly elections, now Dr. Maurya begins this new chapter in her journey with the political service for the BJP. Her appointment to the Women's Commission speaks volumes about her endless effort towards women's empowerment and impactful contribution to social causes across Uttar Pradesh. She was announced as the face of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's manifesto on women's issues in 2022 during the assembly elections. She is a postgraduate with more than 10 years of work experience in social service and has worked associated with some of the loftiest social initiatives in India. She is the founder member of Neki Ki Deewar in Lucknow, an initiative to reach the underprivileged. She is also the National Coordinator for Roti Bank and a National Vice President for the Shambhuka Foundation.
