SpiceJet locks passengers on aerobridge: Passengers claim- Senior citizens were not even asked for water

SpiceJet passengers were locked at the aerobridge at Delhi airport. A passenger has made this claim about Delhi-Bengaluru SpiceJet flight SG 8133. He says that the airline stopped all the passengers on the way between the boarding gate and the plane before the flight on Tuesday i.e. January 10.
Travel vlogger Saumil Agarwal has shared the video. Also wrote in the caption- SpiceJet I understand that sometimes the flight gets delayed. But it's not a good idea to escort passengers past the boarding gate, not let your passengers go ahead and stop them in the middle.
When the passengers asked to open the boarding gate so that they could rest back in the waiting area, the officials refused and disappeared When the senior citizens asked for water as they had been stuck there for more than an hour, the officials Didn't give him water and told him to ask for water in the flight as soon as the gate opens. When people asked him how long it would take, he had no answer. Who treats their customers like this?
A SpiceJet spokesperson clarified that the flight was delayed due to inclement weather in the network, which has led to over-scheduled crew duty hours. The passengers were then requested to wait at the aerobridge, as the security check had already been done.
He said that water was served by the airline to the passengers who were on the lower floor near the aircraft door and aerobridge. The video was shot outside the boarding gate, which had limited access. Service recovery vouchers were given to all the passengers of the said flight. The airline said the turnaround time at Delhi airport for Boeing aircraft is 40-45 minutes and for this particular flight, it was about 20 minutes more than the average turnaround time.
